For over 150 years and counting, Amherst has been a leader in promoting the value of an educational approach to physical fitness and wellness, including competitive athletics. We hope you will agree with us that this leadership requires continued investment.
The Friends of Amherst Athletics (FAA) is a fundraising organization dedicated to supporting all 27 intercollegiate athletic programs at Amherst College. We are writing to invite you to join or renew your membership in the FAA for the current academic year ending on June 30, 2019.
Participation in Amherst athletics continues, for many students, to be among their most significant personal development and educational experiences. Giving to the FAA General Fund directly influences the lives of every student-athlete because it allows the funds to be directed toward the greatest area of impact. FAA membership donations enable our student-athletes and coaches with the necessary resources to be nationally competitive and more importantly, enhance and enrich the student-athlete experience. Membership gifts will be directed towards the support for academic success, behavioral health and wellness, sports performance, sports medicine, student-athlete development, facilities, and the annual FAA Senior Student-Athlete Banquet.

Amherst student-athletes are able to accomplish academic and athletic success through the generous support you provide. You can take pride in knowing your investment will continue the future success and traditions of Amherst College.
