Amherst Cruises to 21-5 Win Against MIT

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Seven members of the Amherst College men's lacrosse team scored their first collegiate goal Saturday as the Jeffs cruised to a decisive 21-5 win over MIT in Clearwater, Fla.
 
The Jeffs extended their win streak to five straight games as they improved to 6-1 overall. They went 3-0 during the Spring Break trip in Florida. Following the loss, MIT dropped to 3-3 this season.
 
Juniors Connor Byrne, Matt Conway, Quincy McDougal and Theodore Seem, sophomore Michael Litner, and first-years Sam Carson and Blake Moore all recorded their first collegiate goals in the win.
 
Amherst returns north and is back in action Saturday, Mar. 29. They will head on the road to face NESCAC rival Middlebury scheduled for 2 p.m.
